Heather Wilcox, MD

Heather is an independent trainer and consultant with extensive experience in business strategy, business analysis, requirements and modelling.

She provides lecturing and training in business and IT to higher education institutions, MOD related establishments, local government and a broad range of large organisations across industry sectors.

Heather has had extensive experience working with public and private sector organisations both in UK, Europe and further afield – EE, Ericsson, RBS, HP, MOD, EADS, Nortel to name a few. She has worked with organisations to establish and develop Enterprise Architecture Capabilities and has gained sound hands on experience modelling with many frameworks such as MODAF, C4ISR, TOGAF, Zachman, and RUP.

Her consultancy roles are varied – both in delivery type roles such as a business architect, to more senior roles, such as head of quality. This last role demanded the oversight of a team of quality managers, focused on liaison at executive level and shaping of the high level strategy.

Heather has an in depth understanding of IT and Business alignment, and is able to act as a mentor in organisations undergoing change. Her extensive training experience is reinforced by a broad spectrum of practical hands-on experience. Heather also has a special ability to motivate and inspire others, in what can be seen as a ‘dry’ subject! She is an accomplished team worker and innovator, bringing great capability, support for the client organisation and enthusiasm to the work place.
